Easter, Jeff's Wedding, and more!!!

Hello Everyone!!! We've had a busy past month, and so we've slacked a bit on the posts. Chris is growing tons and he's starting to show more of personality.

We found the Easter Bunny.

Jeff and Katie got married on April 11. It was such a fun day and we're so happy for them. Who knew that all the Barton brothers would one day be married.

Here's Corriane and Payton, with Katie and Christopher. The two were born a day apart.

Now we move on to some older pictures. Here's Chris after he totally blew out his diaper. It was a complete mess. He nonchalantly enters the tub for a routine cleaning.

Christopher loves sleeping in the corner of our couch.

We had an awesome feast on St. Patrick's Day. Here are Russ & Lauren enjoying the green rolls, green soup, green juice, and asparagus.

Chris really wanted to go bowling, so we took him.

Well this is Katie posting for the first time, as you probably can tell! I don't know how to get the text in the right spot so I will just go from here. Things are going great here and we are staying busy with Christopher, school and fun times with family! Christopher is now two months old and we can't believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. He is doing very well and we are slowly getting the hang of parenthood! He has started smiling and "talking" and we can't get enough of it. These pictures are some from a couple weeks after he was born but I just love them so much. He is one handsome dude! He sure has filled out since then.

This next set of pictures are of our outing to the zoo with Derek, Nikki and Michael. We spent the weekend in Bountiful while my parents were out of town, so we threw a bumpin' party and played rockband into the wee hours. Good times and if you want to check out some of the live action see Kurt's video on facebook. Who knew that I had married such a smokin' hot rockstar!!! The next day it was a beautiful spring day so we decided to go to the Hogle Zoo!! It was such a blast and Christopher would have loved seeing the animals if he just could have stayed awake. We all had a blast and after a fun filled afternoon we headed to the Blue Iguana to dine on the largest burritoes known to man and they sure were delicious. The only tragedy was leaving the leftovers at my parents house! It was one fun weekend and we can't wait for our next trip to the zoo!
The groundhogs!

Rabid animal, don't get too close.

Kurt and I shared and still only finished half of this gynormous burrito, but it sure was tasty!

Baby Blessing & More...

Last weekend we had Chris' baby blessing at church. It was a very neat experience for all of those who got to participate. Here are some pictures of that day, along with some other random ones.

We decided to bless Chris in the same outfit that I wore over 23 years ago. Needless to say, Christopher is a pretty chunky guy; we had to sew up the back...but he still looked great!

Chris loves his baths in the sink.

Marian and Devin brought Claire over to visit Chris. They had a great time crying together.

Chris got to go on his first walk in his stroller.

Alex is home / Valentine's Day

Hello all! We had a great President's Day weekend. Alex came home from his mission to Brazil, we celebrated Valentines Day, and I played Rockband. Here are some pics from the past 2 weeks.
Grandpa Cecil, Uncle Derek with Chris.

Chris was a little jaundice, so he loved sunbathing, except for he liked covering his eyes.

Here's the little man's outfit for Alex's homecoming.

Here is the Love Monster with his Valentine's Day shirt.

Best buds.

Alex is home!!!

Things are going well on our front. Chris sleeps fairly well, but sometimes he's in the mood for late night parties. Thanks to everyone for their support and gifts over the past month. Carry on!
