Geocaching!

On Saturday we were graced with the Visit of Russell and Lauren. We sporadically decided to go Geocaching!! If you don't know what it is, I'll explain it as we go through today's post...

At home, I got the coordinated to a cache and we set out to find it. Here is Annie using the GPS to get closer to the cache.

After deducing that it must be within a general 2o ft. radius, Russell searches up the tree and...

We found the cache! It was an old ammo box full of odd little goodies, aka, caches.

Next we set out to find another. In pursuit, we saw this funny dog driving a car next to us at Wendy's. We got some Frosty's and moved on.

The coordinates to the next cache led us to the steps of a church.

It had an interesting post of an upcoming sermon.

At the church we had to use some dates found on this statue as part of a latter coordinate.

We then had to find dates off of a grave in a near by cemetery.

We found the grave and wrote down some numbers from the dates found on the stone.

That took us to a park, where Katie Lauren and Annie began to go off and do girl things.

More girl things

More girl things

And more things, while in the meantime...

Russell found the cache!!! It was a great find after lots of walking through prickly bushes and getting our fashionable jeans dirty.
