Chris B-Day, Valentine's Day, & CFA Competition

Hello all! We've had a lot of fun events in the Barton family over the past couple of months. First, we are now proud parents of a 1 Year Old! Chris is such a big boy now...literally. Here he is on his birthday when we walked in his room and sang happy b-day. He woke up and was ready to party!

The theme for his birthday was "Balloons & Froot Loops." Check out those Froot Loop cupcakes.

Autumn won the "guess the number of froot loops" challenge. Katie made an awesome froot loop cake that Chris just loved.

Liz brought Chris a massive balloon that he loved!

Then came the part that we were all waiting for... the cake smash.

This is how Chris wishes to spend eternity - eating froot loop cake.

Thanks to everyone that came and gave Chris fun gifts.

We were graced with the presence of Cupid come Valentine's Day.

Some other great news has been taking place on the BYU front. In February I competed in the CFA Society of Salt Lake Investment Research Competition. Turns out our team won and we got a bid to the Americas Competition in New York City. The competition was stiff (Brasil, Wharton, MIT, etc.) but we were victorious! That means that we are going to compete on the global front in HONG KONG!!! It is going to be so much fun! We'll be sure to take tons of pictures and catalog the whole event. The following are some pictures of our team in New York.

Central Park

The Bull

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Winners!

Times Square Celebration that night.

We got interviewed by Tom Keene from Bloomberg. It was so cool!

I had to get Chris a souvenir and so I found the best gift ever - POGS! He loves them.

Until the next post! See y'all in Hong Kong!
